2001: A Mind Odyssey was an initiative, organised by the Royal
College of Psychiatrists, to celebrate the arts, psychiatry and the
mind.
2001: A Mind Odyssey aimed to inspire those involved in mental
health services, both professionals and patients, to express their
creativity through the arts. This celebration aimed to raise
awareness of the therapeutic benefits of artistic expression and
explore other aspects of people's lives and creativity.
2001: A Mind Odyssey was launched in July 2001 at the Royal
College of Psychiatrists' Annual Meeting, Queen Elizabeth II
Conference Centre, London. It concluded at the 2002 College Annual
Meeting, which was held at the Cardiff International Arena from the
24th to the 27th June 2002.
