A Young
Person's Guide to CAMHS
We have designed a booklet
and a leaflet (that you can download below) to tell
young people more about what to expect
from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
The booklet is called "CAMHS
Inside Out" and is for any young person who wants to find
out more about CAMHS and what going to see them may be
like.
In the booklet there are
also "Jargon Busters," to help explain some of the
complicated
words that CAMHS sometimes use,
and lists other places to find more information and
resources!
The leaflet is
called "CAMHS In Brief", and is a quick
guide to CAMHS and has the answers to some frequently
asked questons!
CAMHS Inside Out (Booklet)
The booklet is designed to be viewed
as A5 - if you would like to print off a copy of the booklet, look
in your printer 'preferences' where there may be an option to print
as a 'booklet.' If you do not have a 'booklet' option, the PDF will
be printed as A4.
