'Recovery': helping the creditor sector to work with customers who are experiencing debt and mental health problems

Flier

'Recovery' is an 18 month programme which is aiming to help creditor organisations work more effectively with customers who are experiencing debt and mental health problems.

It is facilitated by the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Money Advice Trust.

The research is endorsed by the BBA, the CML, the FLA, the CSA and the UK Cards Association, and funded by the Friends Provident Foundation.

The research is looking at current practice in creditor organisations and debt collection agencies to identify realistic and commercially viable solutions.

In return for participating, creditors are provided with tailored, confidential recommendations on

working with customers with financial and mental difficulties.
