The Royal College of Psychiatrists which developed HoNOS,
provides the following to support its implementation:
Scoresheet
An A4 sheet for recording background patient information and the
HoNOS score.
Glossaries
A small, handy folding reference guides for the rating of
HoNOS.
Labels
Self-adhesive score sheet labels to affix to case notes or other
documents. There are nine labels on each A4 sheet.
Final Report
This is the final report which details the HoNOS research and
development from July 1993 to December 1995. The report has three
parts:-
- An executive summary
- Five chapters detailing the design criteria specified by a
panel of consultants, four phases of testing and the final
conclusions
- Five appendices that contain all other material needed for the
use of HoNOS, such as the final HoNOS glossary, chart and score
sheet, HoNOS trainers' guide and self-completion of HoNOS for
patients
