This consultation follows on from the Bradley

the view to introducing a minimum target of 14 days to transfer a

Adolescent Forensic Psychiatry Special Interest Group will be
providing input via viewpoints. The consultation is available
online and will run until the 19th February 2010.
Mental Health and Ill Health in Doctors
The Department of Health have recently published
'Mental Health and Ill Health in Doctors' . Given the
importance of this document to all doctors, the BMA Psychiatry
Subcommittee has asked that it be available among all College
Divisions for further discussion and to help promote the issues
raised more widely.
There are strong links with the Welsh Psychiatric Society
www.wps.swan.ac.uk. This
Society seeks to promote issues specific to psychiatry in Wales
and there are joint meetings with the College twice a year.
Every two years there is a joint Meeting with Breton psychiatrists:
"la Societe de Neuro-psychiatrie de L`ouest". The Chairman of the
Welsh Psychiatric Society is Professor Keith Lloyd. For more
information about the Society please go to their website.
