Psychiatry Foundation Fellowship

Psych Star Scheme
Medical students enrolled on a UK full-time medicine degree may be eligible to apply for the Psych Star Scheme, which offers mentoring and financial support for one year and many other fantastic benefits.

The Aggrey Burke Fellowship for Black Medical Students
The Aggrey Burke Fellowship is a 2-year programme for Black medical students at UK universities. It offers are range of benefits including a mentor, CPD fund and a fully funded place at RCPsych International Congress.

Regional and specialty-based
Our Divisions and Devolved Nations run regional award schemes, while faculties offer opportunities relating to sub-specialties. We also have special interest groups (SIGs) which offer prizes to medical students and foundation doctors.
RCPsych Awards
The RCPsych Awards mark the highest levels of achievement in psychiatry and have now been extended to include awards for medical students and foundation doctors.
