22 December: Coping with Physical Illness

Most of us look forward to Christmas but for people living with mental illness it can be a very challenging time of year. Many feel lonely and isolated from family and friends and others may be anxious about social situations or have worries about money problems or debt.

Each day leading up to Christmas we’re highlighting a different mental health resource from our site, which we hope will provide help and support not just for now, but throughout 2018 and beyond.

For 22 December we’ve chosen our information about coping with physical illness.  Our short video explores how anxiety and depression may occur when you have a serious physical illnesses, and what you can do to help you cope.
