Questionnaire 2006
Tsunami disaster - Assessing the effects on people and services in the UK

The College is aware that there are many people in the UK who have been directly affected by the Tsunami disaster. At present, we do not know how many nor how many have needed support from mental health services.

However, we do know that people affected by disaster often present with mental health problems a long time after the event. We would like to know how you and your practice have been affected by the Tsunami. We would also value your ideas about how the College can support your work with the people affected by disaster. We aim to publish the results of this questionnaire in the Psychiatric Bulletin.
