Mental Health Act Survey

Seven years after its introduction, the new Mental Health Act and tribunal system in Scotland have been with us for some time. Have our views about it changed? Do we still feel the workload is too onerous or that care of voluntary patients suffers? Are lengthy tribunals or frequent interim orders frustrating us?  Following on from interesting results of initial surveys in 2006 and 2007, which looked at how psychiatrists in Scotland felt about the new Mental Health Act, we are looking to gain psychiatrists current views and opinions on this important matter.
