The above post has become vacant.  The job purpose is to act as the link betwen the RCPsych in Wales and the Public Education Committee.  The College in Wales is keen to develop its public education function in promoting understanding about psychiatry and mental health amongst professionals, organisations and the general public.

Chair, Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

RCPsych in Wales

The current post holder's Term of Office comes to an end in July 2012 and an Election of a new Chair for the Child and Adolescent Faculty of the RCPsych in Wales is required.

 

The job description and nomination form are now available to view/download.  Members who are interested in this role are welcome to contact the outgoing Chair, Dr Clare Lamb or the Office in Wales for an informal discussion about the role.

 

The outgoing Chair will work alongside the new Chair to shadow the role until the next meeting of the Child and Adolescent Faculty in Wales, on 12 October 2012, when a formal handover will take place.

Evaluators required for the assessment of Certificate of Eligibility for (CESR) applications

The College wishes to recruit current of retired members, particularly in Old Age, Learning Disability, Child & Adolescent, Forensic Psychiatry as well as General Psychiatry to assess CESR applications.  As applications are time consuming members can choose to complete a maximum of 2 per year throughout their 2 years tenure.
