Annual Dinner

 

The Division holds an Annual Dinner each year hosted by the Executive Committee to which all members of the South West Division are welcome to attend.  Free places are offered to new members in the division in recognition of obtaining their MRCPsych during the year and to new Fellows in recognition of this prestigious award.

 

2013

The 2013 Annual Dinner took place on Thursday 14 November at the Redwood Lodge Hotel, Bristol.  It was a very enjoyable evening and we were delighted to formally congratulate those who recently obtained their Membership and the new Fellows in the Division. Ms Ann Paul, Director of Development, was our After Dinner Speaker and gave a very enjoyable and interesting talk.

2012
The 2012 Annual Dinner was held on 7 November, the evening before the Biannual Meeting, at the Redwood Lodge Hotel, Bristol.  Dr Wendy Burn, Dean of the College, attended as our After Dinner Speaker.   

 

2011

The 2011 dinner was held on 17 November, the evening before the Autumn Biannual Meeting, at the Redwood Lodge Hotel, Bristol.  It was a very enjoyable evening and we were delighted to welcome and congratulate those who recently obtained their Membership and the new Fellows from the Division.  The evening was rounded off by an inspiring talk by the President, Professor Sue Bailey, OBE.

 

2010

The Autumn 2010 dinner was held at the Redwood Lodge Hotel the evening before the Autumn Biannual Meeting.  Over 50 members from around the region attended this lively dinner and were entertained by Professor Rob Howard, Dean of the College who was the after dinner speaker.  The excellent food, good conversation and surroundings all made this an enjoyable evening and gave everyone an opportunity to catch up with colleagues from around the south west and congratulate those who had obtained their membership and those appointed fellows of the College.
