Faculty of Rehabilitation and Social Psychiatry

Rehabilitation and social psychiatryRehabilitation and social psychiatry

The Rehabilitation and Social Faculty was created in 1997 as a result of the reorganisation of former Faculties within the College. After the reorganisation, Community Psychiatry was put together with General Psychiatry leaving Rehabilitation and Social Psychiatry on their own. As Rehabilitation Psychiatry is currently a sub-speciality of General Psychiatry and does not have its own CCST, it did not qualify for Faculty status and thus became a Section.

New: FR/RS/01: Enabling recovery for people with complex mental health needs: a template for rehabilitation services.
