RCPsych Dinwoodie Research Fellow for ‘Children First’

The College has an exciting opportunity for a trainee member of the College (within Higher Specialty Training) to undertake a one year Fellowship to research and develop the core curriculum focusing on the needs of Young Carers.

The Dinwoodie Settlement focusses on supporting doctors in training to develop their research skills and the College has identified promoting the understanding of the needs of young carers as a priority. This project is a key component in achieving this aim.

Trainee Support Group – Members Wanted

The Trainee Support Group monitor and advises the College on issues affecting trainees in psychiatry, including differential attainment. We're looking for four new members to join the group. We welcome applications from all psychiatrists with an interest in this area.

New CESR Evaluators Needed

CESR Evaluators evaluate applications for Certificates of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) sent to the College by the GMC.

The RCPsych welcomes new CESR Evaluators from across specialties. We encourage consultants who hold an educator role.

College Assessors to represent the College on NHS Advisory Appointment Committees (AACs)

The College is looking to recruit and train additional College Assessors to represent the College on NHS Advisory Appointment Committees (AACs). We organise two College Assessor training days every year: Spring, and Autumn/Winter. Training is available to Consultant Doctors and Specialty Doctors.
