New CESR Evaluators Needed

CESR Evaluators evaluate applications for Certificates of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) sent to the College by the GMC.

The RCPsych welcomes new CESR Evaluators from across specialties. We encourage consultants who hold an educator role.

College Assessors to represent the College on NHS Advisory Appointment Committees (AACs)

The College is running a half day training in London on Wednesday 29th November 2017 from 9am (registration and coffee) until 1.30pm and, for the first time, the training will be available to Specialty Doctors.

Doctor Adviser/Committee Member for the Psychiatrists’ Support Service

Applications are invited for the post of doctor adviser for the Psychiatrists’ Support Service Committee.

This voluntary post is most suitable for an empathic doctor who understands the range of issues affecting psychiatrists and who will be able to offer appropriate signposting, advice and support to their colleagues.

BJPsych Bulletin Editor

The College is seeking a new Editor for the BJPsych Bulletin. We invite College Members with drive and vision to apply for this exciting post.

The post-holder will report to the Publications Management Board, chaired by the College Editor, and will be responsible for the content of the journal and the strategy for its future direction in collaboration with PMB.

BJPsych Advances is looking for two enthusiastic Trainee Editors to join its Editorial Board. In addition to helping the Board with a variety of tasks, one will take specific responsibility for checking, and writing the MCQs and Learning Objectives associated with BJPsych Advances articles; the other will take a lead on the journal’s social media engagement.
