About us
The Section was founded in 2008, taking the place of the
Special Interest Group in Neuropsychiatry (SIGN), which
had existed since 2001.
The Section continues to have the following aims:
- To promote Neuropsychiatry within the College and outside.
- To design and implement appropriate education and training in
Clinical Neuropsychiatry in the UK.
- To provide a voice for Neuropsychiatry service
development.
- To foster academic and research links in Neuropsychiatry.
- To provide a network of support and information for interested
psychiatrists.
- To act as a resource for the College in its links with other
related professional bodies, governmental organisations and the
public.

How to join
Membership is open to all Members or Associates of the College.
Others may be invited to join at the discretion of the Chair. To
join, please complete our online application form or email the College Membership
Section.
