This graphic novel is heartfelt and beautifully drawn and written. It covers many conditions including dementia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and depression and presents stories of people suffering from these conditions from a personal, understandable and heartfelt way.

The book is easy to read and aimed at those who may not understand a lot of the issues connected to mental health including the wide ranging conditions, causes and the sheer numbers that are effected. Due to this work being by an individual who has suffered from mental health problems himself in the past, and the fact that he has included his own story within the book, makes the book free of judgement. The simplicity of the stories and the drawings may at first make it look like this book could not possibly manage to hit any chords in a subject as deep and complex as mental health but this book really does manage to really dig down and hit something really profound.
