The Royal College of Psychiatrists offers an inspection copy
service for our publications. These titles are available to
lecturers who wish to consider adopting them for a course.
If the title is recommended for purchase on a course, it may be
kept. If not, it should be paid for or returned to us in
re-saleable condition within 60 days (2 months). If we have
not heard from you after this time, we may send you an invoice for
the book(s).
We will only send inspection copies out to a lecturer’s
institution/workplace postal address and a valid work email must be
provided. A maximum of 3 titles can be requested at any one
time, a maximum of 7 in total.
Feedback: For each title the lecturer is asked
to fill out a short questionnaire with a few details of the
institution and the course the title has been accepted for.
If the title is not to be recommended, we ask that the lecturer
provide some feedback as to why it was not suitable.
