Welcome to the companion website for the book Computers
in Psychiatry. Thanks for
buying the book (what do you mean you didn't
?). Cheap at twice the price!
These pages are intended to serve several functions. Each chapter
of the paper book is packed with useful sites that you can view for
further information. Come here to the website and save yourself a
whole lot of typing (and mistyping) by following the hyperlinks
through to other sites.
In addition we have included some links and commentary to several
chapters that didn't appear in the book for reasons of space or
time (only the best excuses accepted!). Some chapters will also
have things like templates and sample files which you can download
and use.
Finally, we have some stuff that couldn't be forced into a
particular chapter which we put under the heading of general
resources.
Do feel free to have a wander around. We checked out the external
links as best we could but we take no responsibility for websites
that are not under our control.
For the material that is under our control we've done our best to
ensure correctness but If you see anything (in print or on the
website) you think needs fixing send me an email at fionnbar@cix.co.uk or make a
posting to the Google Groups discussion
forum. We'll correct the website or, in the case of the
book, put an erratum on the website and fix it in the next paper
edition.
