Mugged

Living independently means you can do the things you want to
do like going to the shops, parks, films and coffee bars. None of
us should be scared when going out and about in the community, but
we should be aware that bad things can sometimes happen. Young men
should be particularly on their guard as they are at most risk of
being mugged.
This story is about a young man called Charlie who is attacked
in the street. The book shows how Charlie is helped by speedy
police action, victim support and back-up from friends, family
members and supporters.
The good advice in this book is for everyone, and includes
suggestions for role-playing different responses to unwelcome
approaches from strangers.
