Books Beyond Words - Other Languages
Books Beyond Words can be used by people who speak
different languages because the stories are told entirely in
pictures. Please look at the pictures.
Why tell the stories in pictures?
- To inform people who cannot read.
- To explain difficult life events, such as
illness or crime.
- To be a guide to new situations such as going
to hospital.
- To be honest and explicit so that people
really understand
- To show how people feel and that these
feelings are OK.
