CCQI National Clinical Audits, Service Quality and
The CCQI's projects work to
audit or review services against established guidelines and
standards with the aim of supporting services to improve the
quality of care they offer.
Our quality and accreditation
projects work cover a number of different types of
services and work with them to improve standards through
a process of regular peer and self review. Some
projects also provide accreditation. For information on what
accreditation means, please see our information
We also, currently host national
clinical audits for dementia and
schizophrenia, the prescribing observatory for mental health and
the mental health CQUIN.
CCQI is working with the British
Standards Institution to develop core standards for inpatient and community mental health
services which will be published in the summer.
