QINMAC is developing a range of position
statements in response to issues which have been raised in QINMAC’s
annual CAMHS reviews. The purpose of these position
statements is to:
- provide practical guidance and a clear reference point for
member teams on problem issues
- act as a strategic tool for members to highlight where good
practice is not being followed
- highlight national CAMHS issues to the Healthcare Commission,
the Department of Health, the NHS Confederation and other relevant
bodies
- inform the ongoing development of the QINMAC standards and
review process
