BECOME A LEAD REVIEWER
FOR THE QUALITY NETWORK FOR COMMUNITY CAMHS
QNCC is now looking for dynamic and proactive CAMH
professionals to get involved in our work:
Lead
Reviewers (honorary contract, travel expenses
covered)
The successful candidates will attend on-site visits
on behalf of the project team, working with staff and service users
to improve community CAMHS. They will also provide written
summaries of the visits to the project team, which will be largely
produced on the day of the visit. This is an ideal post for someone
looking to develop their knowledge of quality improvement.
The post is unpaid but lead reviewers would have an honorary
contract with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and receive a free
place at the QNCC annual forum. The position would last one
year and lead reviewers would be expected to attend and lead a
minimum of two QNCC reviews within that time.
Training is provided. Please download a copy of the
job description and person
specification.
Interested candidates should complete and return the enclosed
application forum and a CV to rbarrett@cru.rcpsych.ac.uk
explaining why they would like to become a QNCC lead reviewer and
how they meet the core competencies. If you would like to discuss
the role in more detail, please contact me.
The closing date for applications is
Friday 25 March 2011, and training will be held on
Friday 15 April 2010 in London.
To apply, please download the application
form.
PLEASE NOTE that other QNCC members with appropriate
experience will still be able to lead reviews but the purpose of
this scheme is to develop a regular bank of lead reviewers who will
provide consistency across reviews.
