Governance
The MSNAP process is governed by several staff
and committees:
Advisory Group
The MSNAP Advisory Group first met in May
2011. The committee members are as follows:
Accreditation Committee
The Accreditation Committee makes
recommendations about the accreditation status of each service that
is reviewed under the programme. Our partner organisations
have nominated formal representatives to sit on the Committee, and
therefore support the accreditation recommendations made during the
meetings. The members and the organisations they represent
are:
- Martin Orrell (chair) - Royal College of
Psychiatrists
- Nitin Purandare (vice-chair) - Royal
College of Psychiatrists
- Esme Moniz-Cook - British Psychological
Society, Faculty for Old Age (PSIGE)
- Sue Watts - British Psychological Society,
Faculty for Old Age (PSIGE)
- Emma Barton - College of Occupational
Therapists
- Kim Manley - Royal College of Nursing
- Emma Ouldred - Royal College of Nursing
- Fiona Proffitt - Alzheimer's Society
- Peter Ashley - Service user advisor
- Jean Tottie - Carer advisor
Royal College of Psychiatrists Special Committee for Personal
and Professional Ethics (SCPPE)
The SCPPE is the awarding body of the Royal College of
Psychiatrists, and all accreditation decisions must be ratified by
them before they can be awarded to member services.
