What are the benefits of accreditation?

The AIMS process is an opportunity for services to determine that the level of care provided to service users and carers is of the highest quality.

In an effort to demonstrate compliance with national guidelines, services are supported to identify and address areas for improvement, to share good practice and to seek advice and pool learning through regular contact with other services.

Those involved are able to improve their professional practice through this process, and the commitment to quality improvement strengthens.
