About the group

Consultants and Specialist Registrars from the area that used to be Wessex Region have continued to meet on a regular basis. The format of the meetings is a clinical session in the morning, and a business session in the afternoon. This allows the group to share clinical good practice and innovation, and to discuss issues and solutions in service development and commissioning. The business meeting allows for feed-back from the Regional Representative, who can also gather the views of colleagues.

Meetings

Meetings take place every four months, and the responsibility for hosting and convening rotates within the group, but meetings are best attended when they are held near the geographical centre of the region, so that is where the majority tend to be.
