About the Forensic Executive Committee

The Forensic Executive Committee is the College representative body for The Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry. It has elected members and co-opted members. The Chairman sits on the College Council and a junior representative is co-opted from the Collegiate Trainees' Committee.

The executive committee consists of a Chair, a Secretary, a Financial Officer, and 12 elected members. There are also a number of co-opted members and observers. Members serve two years after which they can be elected for a further two years. After a gap of one year, the cycle can be repeated.
