The General and Community Faculty conference
was held in Gateshead & Newcastle over two days in October 2011
and over 400 delegates attended, including many trainees. The theme
of the conference was When Biological met Psychosocial
Psychiatry" and the plenary speakers included:
- Professor Sir Robin Murray
- Professor Stephen Scott
- Professor Paul Harrison.
The programme also included talks by the
President and Registrar of the Royal College of Psychiatrists as
well as Dr Hugh Griffiths from the Department of Health.
