How the Members of the
Executive Committee work for the Faculty
The Executive Committee holds a strategic planning away day
once a year to think through its stance on current issues and to
plan the best approach to tackling them.
In the last few years groups have been created in order
to deal more effectively with the issues affecting members of the
Faculty. These are each led by a member of the Committee but the
membership and nature of the group is fluid in order to reflect the
changing circumstances within which the Faculty operates.
These groups communicate predominantly by email and keep
meetings to a minimum. Each group has the opportunity to hold a
consultation meeting at the start of each Faculty conference.
