Development of a European Measure
of Best Practice in Institutional Care for people with longer term
mental health problems – the “DEMoBinc” study
An overview of the study was presented, which
emphasized the strength of the team's methodology, and results from
phase 1 were discussed in detail. The international team have
identified a variety of domains, using a three-pronged
approach, that will help recovery in institutional settings.
They analysed care standards in different countries, completed a
systematic literature review, and completed an international Delphi
exercise involving professionals, carers and service
users. The results can't be shared on this website
as they haven't been published yet. That is one of the
reasons why coming to our conferences is so good for you.
However, there is a website for the
DEMOBinc, which has all the latest publicly available
information.
