The Royal College of
Psychiatrists coordinates national recruitment to core
psychiatry training at year 1 (CT1) and to specialty training
at year 4 (ST4) in all six psychiatric specialties in England,
Scotland and Wales.
Northern Ireland continues to operate its own application
system for recruitment to psychiatry. For further

If you are interested in CT1 / ST4 training in
psychiatry in England, Scotland or Wales you will only be
able to apply for training posts through the College
online recruitment portal.
