Overview

This one day course will give an introduction and guide to the CESR processes with special emphasis and guidance on how to prepare the application and how to succeed. The course will be presented by a team of Royal College of Psychiatrists experts. This course is eligible for 6 CPD hours subject to your peer group approval.

 

Course Content

  • Introduction to CESR, including the roles of the GMC and the College.
  • What will a CESR mean for you? What are your chances? Analysis of applications to date.
  • How was it for me? Personal experience of the application process.
  • Where to from here? The GMC application process. Getting advice and getting started. The College curricula.
  • How to do it? Organising your application.  Workshop on what and how much goes into your application.
  • How can the College help you? The role of the College office.
  • Open forum for discussion.

 

Registration

The course fee is £150 per course including refreshments, buffet lunch and materials.

 

 

 

 

Onsite Training

This course can be delivered at your trust premises for £5,000 plus VAT for up to 40 delegates. This includes speaker fees, travel and all course materials.
