Overview
Health care professionals
have been working with the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005 and the
amended Mental Health Act (MHA) 1983 for some time now. One of the
main challenges facing practitioners on a day-to-day basis is which
Act to use. This one-day course will explore the rationale behind
the Acts, the key principles and the major changes. It will give
clear guidance on when to use the Acts. Delegates will have the
opportunity to raise issues and concerns specific to their own
organisation.
This course is eligible for 6 CPD hours
subject to your peer group approval.
