Overview

Adding value to your work in mentoring, educational supervision and management

 

Coaching supports people through change and promotes work-life balance. As a tool for personal and professional development, it enhances job satisfaction, helps avoid burn-out and can also aid recruitment and retention. Coaching benefits the individual and the organisation by:

 

  • Improving effectiveness, enthusiasm and productivity
  • Enabling a balance of personal and organisational goals
  • Developing alignment with core values
  • Improving interpersonal skills and relationships
  • Increasing potential for collaborative working

 

This is a comprehensive day of practical skills development equipping you to transfer your newly honed skills into a variety of clinical and management settings.

 

The Level 1 course is eligible for 6 CPD hours subject to your peer group approval.

 

Course Aims

  • Understand the purposes and principles of coaching
  • Appreciate the core competencies and skills of coaching
  • Understand models used to structure the coaching conversation
  • Identify areas where coaching can be used in your practice
  • Introduce coaching skills into your varied roles

 

Registration

The course fee is £295 per delegate including all learning materials, refreshments and buffet lunch.

 

 

   
Onsite Training

This course can be delivered at your trust premises for £3,500 plus VAT for up to 12 delegates. This includes speaker fees, travel and all course materials.
