The General Medical Council will be issuing
Licences to Practice later this year. All those on the Medical
Register have been sent a publication 'Licenses and you:
Information for registered doctors'. We recommend all doctors
familiarise themselves with this publication and also that they
view the information on the GMC's website at http://www.gmc-uk.org/about/reform/index.asp
Both the GMC's page and the information here will be updated
periodically; do please ensure you keep up to date with
developments.
The College has issued guidance about
revalidation for psychiatrists which is available for
you to download. If you have any comments on the guidance
please email me at the address below.
