Examinations


The MRCPsych exams consist of two written papers and the clinical assessment of skills and competence (CASC).

  • Paper A: Topics on the scientific and theoretical basis of psychiatry.

  • Paper B: Topics on the clinical topics in psychiatry.

  • CASC: a practical assessment in 16 clinical scenarios.

         IMPORTANT: The CASC format will change from January 2018. Please see details here.
