Information on References for CT1 and ST4 Candidates

 

Each Deanery in England and Wales requires references provided on the MMC standard reference form.  The table below outlines local deanery procedures for collecting references.

How will references be collected?

East Midlands Deanery

The Deanery will request references following appointment as part of pre-employment checks

East of England Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

Kent Surrey and Sussex Deanery

The Deanery will contact referees after the offer has been accepted

London Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

Mersey Deanery

References will be collected when offers are made

Northern Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

North Western Deanery

The Deanery will contact referees when offers are made

Oxford Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

Severn Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

South West Peninsula Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

Wales Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

Wessex Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

West Midlands Deanery

Candidates are required to provide their references at interview

Yorkshire and the Humber Deanery
