Leeds Psychiatry Summer School

Date: 8-12 July 2013

Details of this year's programme.

For those who will require accommodation, any hotel in Leeds City Centre is within walking distance of the venue. The Hilton and Jury’s Inn are very close to the train station – which will be handy for transport requirements. Another alternative for accommodation - which is a cheaper option for the week and again close to the venue.

The North Eastern Psychiatry Summer School 2013

Date: 8 - 10 July 2013

Venue: Durham

We would like to invite Medical Students from across the country, and across all years of training to attend our North Eastern Summer School. We are building on the success of our TEWV Summer School which took place last year.

Our Summer School is an ideal opportunity to explore this field of medicine more in an informative, interactive and inspirational environment. We have a varied programme with original ways of portraying Psychiatry, whilst also giving you the opportunity to meet with experienced Psychiatrists. The sessions on our programme include speed dating, a debate, talks from a host of well respected Psychiatrists, a film club and a specially commissioned short piece of drama, to name just a few.

This is a FREE event but with limited places. Successful applicants can access a travel/accommodation bursary. More information can be found at our website.
