Liverpool University Psychiatric Society

Liverpool University Psychiatric Society was developed to promote psychiatry amongst medical students.  We hope that this society will help students to understand the links between psychiatry, other medical subspecialties and life outside of textbooks and hospitals.  In turn we hope that other medical students will share our passion for psychiatry and choose it as a career.

The society was set up in 2009 by Dr. Arpan Dutta, Lydia Dodd, Alice Hulbert and Laura Best.  The society is registered with the Guild of Students, University of Liverpool.  The society is completely free for all medical students from 1st to 5th year and allows those interested in psychiatry to meet and learn about it.

The 2010 committee are as follows:

Rebekah Appleton    Lucy Brakspear
Unwana Etteh          David Garbera
Lisa Harrison           Sapphira Kaushal
Atim Laber              Gordon Qin
