Out of Programmes

College Support for Out of Programmes counting towards CCT

Trainees wishing to count time spent out of programme towards the award of a CCT must submit all relevant paperwork to the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Quality Assurance (QA) Committee at least four weeks prior to the meeting date. Applicants will receive a response in writing one week after the meeting date informing them of the QA Committee's decision.


The 2016 dates for the Quality Assurance Committee meetings are:

  • 21 March 2016
  • 20 May 2016
  • 18 July 2016
  • 19 September 2016
  • 21 November 2016

Please refer to the Out of Programme Guidance for the relevant paperwork to be submitted. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the Committee and will delay the approval process.
