Overview
A one day training event run by The
Meriden Family Programme in partnership with the Royal College of
Psychiatrists Centre for Advanced Learning and Conferences to
highlight the benefits of working with families whilst respecting
the rights and wishes of the service user. Consideration will also
be given to the fact that carers have rights too.
About the Course
This very interactive one day event
will help delegates to find ways of enhancing their practice by
working collaboratively with families in order to achieve the best
outcomes for all. It will consider the dilemma of the clinician in
respecting the rights of the service user whilst providing the
information needed by families in their caring role and how, if
managed well, good collaborative working can benefit
everybody.
The fact that carers have rights too
will also be discussed. This is a new course designed to help
health and social care professionals gain a greater understanding
of confidentiality and how best to handle it in the best interests
of all.
This course is eligible
for 6 CPD hours subject to your peer group
approval.
