Underfunded child and adolescent mental health services: how much is spent in your region?

Our online tool can help you find out how much is spent on child and adolescent mental health services in your region.

New research from the Royal College of Psychiatrists shows there are huge differences across the country.

England is divided into Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) who decide how NHS funding should be allocated.

Our figures show that

  • 25 CCGs have planned to spend less than £25 per head on mental health services for children and young people during 2016/17
  • Some areas are spending as little as £2 per head
