RCPsych running club

Dr Owen Bowden-Jones is launching a college running club, with runners and walkers of all standards welcome.

The club is kicking off with a scenic run around Edinburgh at 7am on Wednesday 28 June - the third day of Congress.

There will also be a walk arranged for those who wish to enjoy the Edinburgh sites but do not wish to break into a jog.

Owen has ordered t-shirts for attendees in the college colours, which will be available to buy from the college stand.

Owen will lead the run, which will begin from the Conference Centre entrance. The exact route will be made available to Congress delegates - hopefully via the event app and on social media – and we’re also expecting that maps will be available on the day.

Looking to the future, other dates for runs/walks will be announced later in the year, from London and other locations.

Meanwhile the main message to those interested is - bring your running gear to Congress!
