The London Division is to host the first PsychQuiz evening - like a pub quiz but better!

Teams of up to 6 people from London's Medical Schools are invited to display their knowledge, both serious and frivolous, of the "Wonders of the Mind".

The evening will consist of six rounds of questions, with the prize of the first ever London PsychQuiz trophy.

Author of such books as Trust Me, I'm a Junior Doctor and Where Does It Hurt? and the Telegraph Newspaper columnist Max Pemberton will be acting as Quiz Master for the night.

Free wine and soft drinks, together with the usual crisps etc. will be provided.

With tickets at just £5 per person, get your team together, complete a registration form, and return it to Susan Halliwell-Bass at the address on the form.

Bipolar Disorder: Improving Care


This year the London Division's academic day has a focus on bipolar disorder.

It will include updates on the latest NICE guidance, expert sessions on clinical challenges such as differentiation from personality disorder and recognition in under 18s, and insights on developing improved services for bipolar disorder in the current NHS climate.

This Conference offers 6 hours of CPD and is relevant to Consultants, trainee psychiatrists, students, psychologists and anyone involved in the treatment, care and wellbeing of people with mental illness
