Trainee Prize - Northern & Yorkshire
Division
The Northern and Yorkshire Division has
established a prize and a certificate of merit to be awarded for
the most outstanding oral and poster presentation by a Trainee
Psychiatrist.
Prize: £200 and a
certificate of merit for the best oral and poster
presentation.
Frequency: Annually
Eligible: Trainee
Psychiatrists within Northern and Yorkshire Division
Where presented: At one
of the Academic Conference year year – exact date determined by
Executive Committee.
Regulations:
I. Oral presentations on
Audit and Research Projects or Reviews of the Literature will have
duration of no more than 15 minutes which will include the
presentation and questions from the floor.
II. Poster presentations
will be assessed by the Executive Committee from a PDF document
ahead of the Conference and the original poster will be displayed
for the duration of the conference. Trainees will be expected to be
available for questions from delegates during breaks in the
conference.
III. Assessors will be
members of the Executive Committee. Trainees will receive a
decision on their presentations at the close of the
Conference. Prizes and Certificates of Merit will be sent to
Trainees separately.
Closing date: 8 weeks
prior to the chosen Conference date.
