West Midlands Division Mentoring Scheme

 

The scheme is entirely voluntary and aimed at doctors taking up their first consultant post or those about to take on new responsibilities.   

The mentors are consultant psychiatrists working within the West Midlands who have been a consultant for at least 3 years. 

If you would like to become a mentor, you should attend the annual introductory training day.  CPD workshops are also scheduled throughout the year.

The mentee and mentor should complete the registration form at their initial meeting and return the form to: -

Mentoring Training Event

A full training day is being planned for Wednesday 9 November at the Birmingham Marriott Hotel.

2016 CPD Meetings

These are provisionally booked to take place at The Uffculme Centre, Birmingham: -

  • Wednesday 27 April, 2-4pm (cancelled due to junior doctor's strike)
  • Wednesday 13 July, 2-4pm
