British Doctors and
Dentists Group
The British Doctors and Dentists
Group was formed in 1975 and is a mutual support society for
those who would like help with addictions. Support is also
available to families. There are groups based in Scotland,
Manchester, Northern Ireland, West Midlands, West of England,
Essex, County Durham, Ireland, London, Hampshire, Devon, West
Sussex, South Yorkshire and Wales where there are generally monthly
meetings.

They offer a free, confidential service to help with mental health
problems, physical health problems or addiction which impact on
work.

Sick Doctors
Trust
This is a helpline for addicted
or alcoholic doctors. They will also talk to doctor’s spouses,
practice partners, patients and the media. No identifiable personal
information is required at the outset and the service can offer
