The 8th National Memory Service Forum will be held on

Wednesday 11th October

at the Jury's Inn, Broad St, Birmingham B1 2HQ.


Charing the forum is Professor Martin Orrell, Director of the Institute of Mental Health, University of Nottingham and Chair of the MSNAP Accreditation Committee.

The forum will host speakers from NHS England, MacIntyre charity, clinical experts from NHS Trusts across the UK and experts by experience of living with dementia. 


Topics covered at the forum include:

  • Communication in Dementia Training for Family Carers
  • Living with MCI
  • The Greenwich Memory Service Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Engagement Project
  • Reducing Memory Service Waiting Times: Findings from the London Memory Service Pathway Mapping Project
  • Communicating a Diagnosis of Dementia
  • Learning Disability and Dementia
  • Interventions for people with MCI


Prices are as follows:

  • Staff working in MSNAP full member service - Free (up to 2 places per service)
  • Affiliate MSNAP member/additional places for full MSNAP member - £50
  • Other (non-MSNAP member) -  £100
  • Person with dementia/carer (working with MSNAP) - Free
  • Non-professional (not working with MSNAP) - £30
