Improving the care and treatment for people with an intellectual and/or developmental disability in prison

This event will consist of a series of presentations and workshops exploring the care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disability in prisons.


It is an opportunity for professionals from all disciplines to meet and discuss key issues in this area and to learn and share ideas.

This is a free event for QNPMHS member services, and lunch will be provided. Non-members can attend at a cost of £40.

Reviewer Training

Reviewer Training enables staff from our member services to participate in peer-review visits of other prison mental health services. Participants will gain practical and theoretical knowledge of all aspects of participating in a peer-review visit. The day involves presentations, seminar discussions and role-play scenarios.

Staff from any discipline with an interest in being involved in external peer-reviews for the Quality Network can take part.

The training is free to member services.
