  • Working-Age Adult Assessment/Triage Wards (AIMS-AT)

"Thank you so much for this news. It means a lot to me and all of my ward team to receive this recognition."

Senior Charge Nurse, newly-accredited ward

"I really enjoy the review process, have learnt so much from being part of this, and feel that it is a very practical way to contribute to developing better services."

Ward Manager and Lead Reviewer

AIMS-WA and AIMS-AT work with services to assure and improve the quality of acute inpatient services for working-age adults. Through a comprehensive process of review, we identify and acknowledge high standards of organisation and patient care, and support other services to achieve these.

Involving service users and carers in our work is a priority, and people with first-hand experience of using services are encouraged to get involved in all stages of the accreditation process.

Accreditation assures staff, service users and carers, commissioners and regulators of the quality of the service being provided.
