NAS Multidisciplinary Learning Event - Thursday 17 January 2013

This was a free, one day learning event hosted by the Royal College of Psychiatrists' London Division, and delivered by the National Audit of Schizophrenia project team. The event was attended by psychiatrists, pharmacists, nurses, care co-ordinators and primary care colleagues from the London Division area.

Following publication of the NAS baseline audit national report in December 2012, the aim of the event was to encourage full discussion of the results of the audit, the recommendations and how best these might be implemented.

Programme highlights:

The event consisted of  seven sessions covering the following topics:

  • Background and methodology
  • Results: service user and carer views
  • Results: physical health monitoring
  • Results: prescribing and psychological therapies
  • Summary of recommendations
  • The second round of audit
  • General discussion on barriers to implementation and possible solutions (workshop and plenary session)

Learning event feedback from Trusts:

The NAS team would like to thank all attendees from participating Trusts for completing our learning event feedback form.
 
The team is pleased to announce that the event achieved an average overall rating of 2.6 out of 3 (very useful). We received some positive and constructive feedback and will be taking on board your suggestions and comments when planning future events. 

NAS Learning Event 30 April 2012 - feedback and slides

 

This was a free, half day learning event attended by participating Trusts, and took place at the Royal Society of Medicine, London on Monday 30 April 2012.

The event was used to present and discuss the NAS process and the presentation of data, it comprised of five sessions covering the following topics:

 

 

Please note that slides containing data are not yet available as they are subject to revision then submission to HQIP for approval before final publication of the final report .

 

 

Learning event feedback from Trusts/ Health Boards:

The NAS team would like to thank all attendees from participating Trusts/ Health Boards for completing our  learning event feedback form.
 
We received a very high response rate (89%) to the learning event feedback forms. The team is pleased to announce that the event achieved an average overall rating of 2.8 out of 3 (very useful). We received some positive and constructive feedback and will be taking on board your suggestions and comments when planning future events.
